BRIDGE Token

The Hyperbridge token powers a fully decentralized
and permissionless interoperability protocol

Token Specification

Deflationary

Hyperbridge does not print any new tokens for securing the network as this is provided by it's consensus layer

1B total supply

The BRIDGE token will have a capped supply of 1 billion tokens.

MultiChain Native Token

The BRIDGE token will live across multiple blockchains for greater accessibility and utility.

Utility Token

BRIDGE is a utility token and is used by the Hyperbridge blockchain to process cross-chain messages and storage queries.

Token Utility

Decentralized Governance

The BRIDGE token is used to propose and vote for critical changes to the Hyperbridge protocol, adjusting fees, relayer & block producer rewards, code upgrades and more.

Cross Chain Messages

The BRIDGE token is used by relayers for submitting cross-chain messages to Hyperbridge. These fees are acrued by the Hyperbridge treasury and ultimately used to payout rewards to relayers and block producers.

Storage Queries

Relayers also use the BRIDGE token to pay for processing cross-chain storage queries on behalf of applications. These fees are also accrued to the on-chain treasury.

Priority Fees

Hyperbridge acts a sequencer for crosss-chain transactions.
This allows relayers choose the order in which transactions must be delivered to the destination blockchain in order to extract any cross-chain MEV.

This outlines the initial token distribution of the Hyperbridge BRIDGE token. Allocated across different stakeholders in the network.

The Initial Relayer Offering is Live

The initial relayer offering allows relayers acquire the BRIDGE token to continue
their operations once Hyperbridge transitions to a fully permissionless protocol
